You guys . . . I just have to share this with you because it is too funny not to! One of my college friends, Deka, has a blog called "That's Hideous" ("Bringing attention to all things ugly"), which you may have noticed on my blogroll to the right. Well, her blog is basically awesome; it's one of my favorite guilty pleasures--always makes me smile no matter how crappy my day may be. Recently, she posted this--and I couldn't help but laugh, picturing one of my blogger triathlete friends showing up to a tri with these "wheels" (and yes, this is for real)! See Deka's post here: walking bike.

Ha! Who comes up with these things?!
I love these posts. Thanks for pointing out the Thatshidious blog. It will go right up there with failblog and photobomb.
Have a great weekend!
Hee. Wonder how you'd keep track of mileage on those things?
that is incredible, i bet it's pretty stable though, you know, not thin tires. NICE.
STOP LAUGHING AT MY BIKE!! I worked hard to make it...
JK, by the way! Thanks for your kind words, and also for letting others know about my fund raising effort for Autism Speaks. You're the best.
Hmmm...so are you supposed to just take one of the shoes off the spokes when you're transitioning from the bike to the run in a tri?
such things reassure me that the human race will certainly destroy the earth one day.
The Netherlands are the country of bikes, but I haven't seen this one before!
This is an oldie but a goodie. If that thing has a pedometer, it'll really rack up the distance.
